{"id":1074,"date":"2010-02-25T14:20:23","date_gmt":"2010-02-25T20:20:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saskabush.com\/blog\/?p=1074"},"modified":"2010-02-27T20:41:36","modified_gmt":"2010-02-28T02:41:36","slug":"2010-olympic-games-to-be-replayed-entirely-in-french","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.saskabush.com\/content\/2010\/02\/25\/2010-olympic-games-to-be-replayed-entirely-in-french\/","title":{"rendered":"2010 Olympic Games to be Replayed Entirely In French"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VANCOUVER (SBP) \u2013 In the wake of criticism of the limited use of french in the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the Canadian Government announced that they will be securing funding to replay the event entirely in french.\u00a0 The additional 2 weeks of a separate french-only Olympic competition is unprecedented in the history of the event.\u00a0 The move is meant to serve as an olive branch of appeasement to Quebec nationalists who have never, ever shat on anything relating to Canada in the past.\u00a0<!--more--><br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u201cWe would like to invite the world to stay an extra 2 weeks in beautiful Vancouver on us,\u201d said Prime Minister Stephen Harper through a translator, \u201cPlease, please re-compete like you did for the past 2 weeks but, we have only one request of all of you with your various cultures and languages;
